Justin Bieber's been in the dog house a lot lately, but things would be very different if he lived at the White House — according to First Lady Michelle Obama.
Mrs. Obama, who has two daughters of her own, said she would keep the Biebs under close watch if he were her son. “I would pull him close,” she told Univision. “I don’t know if it would be advice as much as action. I would be very present in his life right now.” (Sooo, does this mean he'd be grounded at the White House?!)
She added: “And I would be probably with him a good chunk of the time, just there to talk, to figure out what’s going on in his head, to figure out who’s in his life and who’s not, you know.”
Anyway, Mrs. Obama said her own daughters, Malia, 15, and Sasha, 12, “just want you near… they want [parental advice]… They want to see you on a daily basis.”
For the record, Bieber's dad Jeremy was supposedly very "near" the festivities the night he was arrested on suspicion of DUI. He was allegedly out partying with his son and his posse. The star's mom, Pattie, was promoting her new web site at the time.
