First Lady Michelle Obama Will Appear on 'NCIS' to Support Veterans
The whole cast filmed inside the White House.
Out with the old, in with the new: Michael Weatherly's Tony DiNozzo might be leaving NCIS, but First Lady Michelle Obama is just getting started.
Mrs. Obama will make a special guest appearance on the CBS show to promote Joining Forces, an initiative she co-founded with Vice President Joe Biden to support veterans and their families. The initiative offers easier access to education, employment, and health programs.
The episode, titled "Homefront," will feature the First Lady as herself, set in the White House where Gibbs (Mark Harmon) has been invited to attend a Joining Forces roundtable.
Every aspect of the White House's involvement was intended to benefit veterans — even the scene's extras will be real life military husbands and wives.
"Homefront" will air Tuesday, May 3 on CBS.
